Nuclear Blast é uma gravadora independente com subsidiárias na Alemanha, Estados Unidos e Brasil. A gravadora foi fundada em 1987 por Markus Staiger na Alemanha, cujo principal escritório está em Donzdorf, Göppingen.
Originalmente lançando gravações de punk rock e hardcore, a gravadora mudou a direção de seus álbuns lançados voltando-se ao metal, principalmente Death metal melódico, grindcore, black metal e symphonic metal.
Nuclear Blast é uma respeitável gravadora da cena de Power Metal. No Brasil foi representada pela extinta gravadora Paradoxx Music.
Seus lançamentos incluem uma série de compilação chamada Death Is Just the Beginning. Músicas da gravadora Nuclear Blast foram incluídas na trilha sonora do filme Alone in the Dark.
Em 2007, a gravadora lança um cd em comemoração aos seus 20 anos intitulado “Into the Light” e “Out Of The Dark”, que foi composto e arranjado por Victor Smolski da banda Rage.
